Ko Taku Reo
is looking for an exceptional teacher to join our Ormiston Team. This is an
opportunity to grow your expertise - from being a great classroom teacher to
becoming a great Teacher of the Deaf.

We're
looking for a teacher who brings curiosity, energy and fresh ideas to
help our learners thrive. You'll have strong knowledge of teaching and
learning, a commitment to student wellbeing and a passion for making a
difference. We'll support you to develop skills in NZSL, and deepen your
understanding of Deaf Culture and the Deaf community.

  to become fluent in NZSL

  Study Award to complete a Postgraduate Teacher of the Deaf qualification,
  with significant release time provided

Ko Taku Reo is a Priority
Staffing School, if successful in securing a place on the Teacher Bonding
Scheme this position will be supported by this. This is equivalent to $40,000
over 5 years.
