Due to an Internal Promotion, our Palmerston North team is on the lookout for a switched-on, hardworking individual to work across different areas within our
Trade Store
and
Warehouse.
As part of our Trade Shop Sales/Store Support team, you are responsible for providing fantastic customer service to our walk-in trade shop customers as well as working in the warehouse with the team.

Each day will be different and include anything from;

  • Taking & processing orders from Trade store customers
  • Fulfilling those orders (you'll need to be physically fit and able)
  • Keeping our stock on the racks with product to sell
  • Taking customer phone enquiries
  • Picking, packing and distributing orders
  • General store administration
  • Warehouse duties

You are a team player and will need to be hands-on, flexible, hardworking, and not afraid to get your hands dirty

  • Upbeat and friendly, with the ability to relate well and provide great service to our customers (a must)
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role and/or warehousing
  • An understanding of warehouse distribution and stock management
  • Excellent written communication skills - good with numbers
  • Fantastic team player with a strong work ethic
  • Experience in the Steel industry (would be a bonus)
  • Forklift licence (if not, we can train you)
