ABA Therapist Internship Program
What We Offer:
- Direct Work with Children: Gain invaluable hands-on experience working 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum. Learn and apply principles of behavior analysis and behavior therapy to make a real difference.
- Interdisciplinary Exposure: Enjoy the unique opportunity to shadow our interdisciplinary therapy teams, including specialists in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Neuropsychology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology for at least 30 minutes a week. This offers a rounded view of pediatric therapy approaches and treatments.
- 12-Week Program: Our comprehensive 12-week program is aimed at providing a deep insight into autism therapy and can be extended, opening the door for continued learning and experience.
- Keen on Child Development: Whether you have prior childcare experience, especially with kids with developmental needs, or are studying fields related to psychology or child development, your passion for making learning fun for children is what matters most.
- Interested in Pediatric Therapies: You are either studying or possess a keen interest in speech therapy, occupational therapy, or any other pediatric therapy fields. Our interdisciplinary approach enables you to collaborate closely with experts across different specialties.
- A Quick Learner: Basic computer skills are required, but more importantly, we're looking for individuals eager to learn new technologies and therapy techniques to better assist the children in our care.
This internship is not just about gaining practical experience; it's about making a tangible difference in the lives of children and their families. You'll be playing a pivotal role in their development and witnessing firsthand the incredible progress your efforts can achieve.
By joining our team, you'll:
- Embark on a comprehensive learning experience in ABA therapy.
- Acquire valuable knowledge and skills applicable to future careers in various forms of therapy.
- Become part of a caring community dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism.
