We are looking for a part-time Senior Porter and part-time Commissionaire to join our amazing Bell Desk team Both roles sit at the heart of our Front Services operation – welcoming guests, assisting with luggage and valet, and helping to keep the entrance and driveway running safely and smoothly. The key difference is that the Senior Porter takes on more coordination and leadership of the Bell Desk, while the Commissionaire focuses on being the main presence at the front entrance and driveway.

As a Senior Porter, you'll play a key role in the Bell Desk team and help deliver a seamless five-star experience. You will:

• Provide a warm, personalised welcome and farewell to guests
• Coordinate and assist with luggage services and valet parking
• Support the Bell Desk team and help ensure smooth daily operations
• Assign tasks and liaise with other departments as needed
• Post guest charges and help maintain accurate billing records
• Lead by example in guest service, grooming and professionalism

As a Commissionaire, you'll be the first point of contact at our front entrance and help keep our driveway safe and well managed. You will:

• Greet guests on arrival and departure, offering a friendly, professional first impression
• Assist with doors, directions and basic luggage support, referring to Concierge or Porters where needed
• Help manage the flow of vehicles in the driveway so it stays safe, clear and organised
• Assist with valet parking and vehicle coordination when required
• Maintain a visible presence at the entrance and report any safety or security concerns
• Work closely with Concierge, Reception and Security to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Uphold Cordis grooming and service standards at all times

For both the Senior Porter and Commissionaire roles, we're looking for someone who:

• Has strong customer service or front-of-house experience (hotel or hospitality experience is an advantage)
• Must hold a full and clean New Zealand driver's licence
• Is confident, calm and approachable with great communication skills
• Is comfortable working on their feet for long periods and, at times, outdoors at the entrance/driveway
• Is reliable, punctual and able to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings
• Maintains immaculate grooming and a professional presentation
• Has a positive, hard-working attitude and genuinely enjoys looking after people and creating a great first impression
