About the Role
As the Professional Lead in Physiotherapy, you will provide strong, visible, and strategic leadership to inspire colleagues and the wider health workforce, ensuring a culture of clinical excellence. This role will oversee the delivery of safe, high quality patient care across the Physiotherapy Services in the Te Tai Tokerau region. You will will work with the hospital and community services, prioritising preventative care and equitable access for Māori, Pacific and underserved populations.
This role is a permanent, part time role working 24 hours per week. Location is flexible across the Region, however travel will be required.

About you
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 7 years experience as a Physiotherapist, with knowledge of current standards of practice and experience relating to clinical service provisions.
- Relevant allied health tertiary qualification, with current NZ annual practising certificate (if required)
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications
- Current NZ drivers licence
- Previous experience in project management quality improvement initiatives, change management, including drafting business cases
- Proven knowledge and understanding of the hospital, the local community and issues
