Position Title: Grower

Salary Range: $28.00–$35.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Minimum Guaranteed Hours of Work: 30–50 hours per week

Location: [Auckland], Northland, Waikato, Hawk's Bay, Bay Of plenty

Start Date: As soon as possible

Pesh Advance is a progressive horticultural business committed to producing high-quality crops through sustainable growing practices. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grower to manage and maintain crop production to the highest standards, ensuring consistent quality and yield.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• A minimum of two years' relevant experience in horticultural or agricultural crop production; or
• A relevant Level 4 qualification or higher
• Strong knowledge of plant health, pest and disease control, irrigation systems, and soil management.
• Ability to operate and maintain horticultural equipment.
• Good planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures in a horticultural setting.
• Physical fitness to perform manual work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Current driver's licence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, plant, cultivate, and harvest crops according to seasonal requirements.
• Monitor crop growth and implement pest, disease, and weed control measures.
• Operate, maintain, and repair irrigation systems and horticultural equipment.
• Record crop production data, including planting dates, yields, and treatments applied.
• Implement sustainable growing practices to optimise yield and quality.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with farm managers, suppliers, and contractors as required.
• Assist in training and supervising seasonal or general farm workers.
