We're a thriving, family-run soft furnishings workroom looking for an experienced and confident Production and Customer Coordinator to join our close-knit team. This is a full-time, hands-on role in a busy, collaborative environment where your multitasking skills and attention to detail will truly shine.

What You'll Do:

You'll be responsible for a wide range of admin and coordination tasks that keep our production running smoothly and ensure our customers receive outstanding service. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Entering data into worksheets and job sheets
  • Ensuring daily production and processing targets are met
  • Providing timely updates to customers via phone, email, or face-to-face
  • Coordinating invoicing information for the accounts team
  • Monitoring job progress, remedial jobs, and production tracking
  • Managing procurement and maintaining supplier relationships
  • Working closely with the Operations Manager and Workroom Supervisor to improve workflows, efficiency, and product quality
  • Supporting CRM maintenance and assisting the Operations Manager as needed

  • Proven admin experience (ideally in a production, manufacturing, or soft furnishings environment)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A friendly, professional manner when dealing with both team members and customers
  • High attention to detail and excellent time management
  • A proactive, "can do, will do" attitude
  • The ability to prioritise and adapt to changing demands
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office; familiarity with tools like Excel and CRM systems (training provided)
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
