With the successful appointment of an internal team member, we are now seeking a Factory Co-Ordinator within our Automation Team. As one of the two Factory Co-Ordinator's, together you will play a key part in overseeing day-to-day activities within the automation area. Your responsibilities will include co-ordinating workflow, supporting production requirements, assisting with troubleshooting, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across our operations.
You'll work closely with a highly skilled team and gain exposure to modern automated systems, making this an excellent role for someone who wants to develop technical and leadership skills.

- Have you previously been involved in automation or production/manufacturing environments?
- Do you possess the ability to multi-task and enjoy variety in your role? You will interchange roles with the other Co-Ordinator, as well as the team, to ensure operational efficiencies across the entire automation platform?
- Do you possess the ability to learn and impart that knowledge to assist and develop others?
- Have a proven background where you lead by example, maintaining a fair and consistent approach towards colleagues?
- Act in good faith, always mindful of others' health, safety, and wellbeing; and are not easily phased?
- Been involved in food processing and experience in PH502?

About you… we're looking for someone who brings strong organisation, clear communication, and a positive, proactive approach. The ideal candidate will be:
- A team player who provides support, has patience and remains calm in what can be at times a pressurised environment?
- Hands-on involvement. You will receive training in all areas of the automation and manual plants, with the need to cover for others during busy periods or when they are on leave (as they will do for you).
- Flexible - our business is seasonal (which is when we can work on Saturdays).
- Enjoys working with a diverse and interesting group of people
- And a resident of New Zealand.
Skills and Abilities Competencies:
In addition to the above, you will require general administrative tasks, be computer literate, have experience with stock inventory, used Damstra (formerly Vault) or other safety packages, and Bio-time (or similar timeclock systems) to check and authorise the teams' hours.
