1st XI Football Coach Opportunities at Rangitoto College

Rangitoto College is committed to growing the sport of football at all levels, as well as creating and driving high performance opportunities and outcomes for its players.

As head coach of our Premier Football Team, you will be responsible for leading the team programme throughout all phases of the year, including all competitions and tournaments. You will also work with other key coaches to ensure there is alignment across our programme, particularly relating to our competitive teams. You will be supported by a highly invested Sports Department, a deeply committed Teacher in Charge of Football, development personnel and a passionate football community.

We are looking for positive, reliable, and committed individuals whose previous coaching or playing experience and passion for youth sport will be invaluable.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with player trials and team selection processes.
• Lead the planning and delivery of engaging and high-quality weekly training sessions, twice per week.
• Attend all scheduled fixtures and tournaments (local and national).
• Promote a positive team and inclusive team culture.
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Regularly liaise with the Director of Sport, Director of Football, Sports Department and Teacher in Charge of Football.
