SODHI PIZZA LIMITED is looking for a Store Manager to join its team and oversee daily operations in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty region.
The ideal candidate should be growth-oriented, focused on delivering excellent customer service, and capable of maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency, strong performance, and the achievement of sales and profitability goals.
- Lead, guide, and motivate the team to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a friendly, professional in-store atmosphere.
- Address customer enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Increase sales by implementing effective merchandising practices, promoting offers, and clearly communicating deals to customers.
- Oversee store financial processes, including budgeting, controlling costs, ensuring accurate transactions, and preparing reports for senior management or the Director.
- Maintain strict compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and staff.
- Train and supervise staff members, ensuring they follow operational procedures, uphold service standards, and perform tasks effectively.
- Monitor stock levels, manage replenishment, communicate with suppliers, and explore sourcing opportunities to maintain consistent inventory availability.
- Ensure the store's presentation, cleanliness, and staff grooming standards reflect the brand's professionalism and quality.
- Oversee food preparation and service to guarantee consistency, quality, and adherence to the store's expectations.
- Manage customer orders, promote in-store specials, and provide product suggestions to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Set performance expectations for the team, offer ongoing feedback, and recognise strong performance to support a positive workplace culture.
- Participate in store planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities to help drive long-term business growth.
- Coordinate delivery activities, ensuring orders are prepared accurately and dispatched within expected timeframes.
Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $30 to $35 per hour.
Other Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or a relevant Level 5 qualification.
- Availability to work on weekends and evening shifts.
- Strong team player with good time management skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Hardworking and committed to delivering quality service.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
