Who is hiring?

Pathway Charitable Group who have been helping people since 1998, their focus is on providing opportunities for people to make a fresh start with new tools, skills, and possibilities. They do this with a mix of social services that work in tandem with their other business divisions.

Along with their social enterprises Pathway also provided accommodation services to those in need, by providing long term accommodation they can assist those most vulnerable in our community.

The Role?

As Communications Advisor you will work in collaboration with the COO and wider team to plan and deliver internal and external communications for the organisation. You will play a key role in maintaining a high level of engagement with stakeholders through telling their clients stories and the success of Pathways programmes.

The Communications Adviser will also take responsibility for Pathways social media and promotional material along with website content and annual report. You will also be heavily involved in the administration of Pathways grant applications and calendar so any experience within the charities sector would be favourable.

What will you need?

To succeed in this role, you will need.

· Relevant qualifications and experience in the communications field

· Experience with the full Adobe suit of products specifically InDesign

· The ability to work independently and as part of a team

· The ability to solve problems and have common sense approach

· Resilience and the ability to maintain composure under pressure

· Experience dealing with media would be advantageous but not essential.

This role will suit someone who would like to work for an organisation with a strong purpose and alongside a committed and collaborative team.
