Job DescriptionOur Auckland Transport team is looking for a Structural Engineer to work on a range of major and medium-sized infrastructure projects such as Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Riverlink) and Inland Rail.

- Ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness in the execution of design tasks and project deliverables relating to structural engineering
- Prepare clear, well-structured technical reports and support the development of proposals and other project documentation
- Foster effective communication and coordination with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to support successful project outcomes
- Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development
The qualities that help you thrive
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of professional bridge and civil structures design experience office experience in New Zealand, with 2+ years of professional structural design experience and a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Capability in New Zealand earthquake design, with design experience suited to New Zealand geotechnical conditions.
- Well versed in local design practices, codes, and compliance specific to New Zealand infrastructure projects, specifically experience designing in accordance with the NZTA Bridge Manual, New Zealand Standards,
- Familiar with using MIDAS Civil, and proficient user of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
