The role: Lead the way | arahi i te huarahi

Plumbing World Queenstown has an opportunity available for someone who wants to step up and step into a leadership role where you will inspire, coach and lead your team from the front.

A key focus of this role is to keep the branch working at a high standard, and to encourage innovation. Training and development of staff is critical to ensure that our business remains customer-leading.

What your day will look like:

  • Proactively assisting the Branch Manager to meet branch results across revenue, customer service, operational excellence and productivity targets
  • Provide information, support, feedback, coaching and development to enable team members to perform to their maximum potential
  • Assist with the coordination of accurate and timely picking, packing and despatch of product directly to customers or within the Queenstown network.
  • Takes personal accountability for resolving customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner

As Assistant Branch Manager with Plumbing World you will:

  • Have previous experience in a supervision or team leader role
  • Motivate, support and lead the team within the branch
  • Ensure customers get the products and services they need
  • Have excellent communication and administration skills
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and team members alike
  • Motivating and organising staff on a daily basis to continue our great team culture
  • Lead by example, you will not only be operationally strong, and an inspiring leader, but able to demonstrate by your own service and sales ability
