The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Solicitor to join their Private Client team. This role will see you working advising clients on matters relating to estates, trusts, and personal asset planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of estate administration, trust formation and management, wills, enduring powers of attorney, and other private client work.
- Provide strategic legal advice to individuals, families, and trustees, including high-net-worth clients and charitable organisations.
- Work closely with senior partners, colleagues, and external professionals to deliver effective outcomes.
- Maintain and grow client relationships and support the firm's business development initiatives, including networking and marketing.
About You
You'll be a qualified Solicitor with:
- At least 3 years post-qualification experience in estates, trusts, and private client matters.
- A current New Zealand practicing certificate.
- Strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
- A client-focused approach, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to high standards of client service.
