Nurse Practitioner – Waitakere Health Centre (Medseek)

Location: Henderson, Auckland—Waitakere Hospital (Building 12) behind the Emergency Department and next to Public Parking.

Medseek's Waitakere Health Centre is growing fast, and we're looking for a Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care scope) to help us deliver outstanding, accessible care to our diverse West Auckland community.

The role

  • Same day/urgent presentations, long-term condition management and preventative care
  • Women's health, contraception consults (LARC experience welcomed)
  • Collaborative care planning with our HIP/HC and nursing team
  • Quality improvement, clinical leadership and teaching opportunities

We're seeing strong patient demand for women's health services. Applications from female NPs are warmly encouraged to help us meet community preferences; however, all suitably qualified applicants are welcome and will be considered on merit.

You'll bring

  • NCNZ registration as a Nurse Practitioner with current APC and prescribing authority
  • Recent primary care experience (NZ)
  • Excellent communication, cultural safety, and teamwork.

Nice to have (bonus)

LARC insertion/removal, sexual health, youth and maternal health experience
