About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga 

In this role you will: 

Collect all donated goods and deliver them to shops, adhering to the guidelines on quality.Provide great customer service.Assist with maintenance of stock levels this includes liaising with the Shop Manager or Delivery Scheduler, for the timely delivery of stock.Complete electrical test and tagging on electrical donated goods (training provided)Check and maintain the vehicle you are driving to ensure compliance and road worthiness.Keep New Zealand Red Cross informed of any issues promptly.Follow New Zealand Red Cross heath safety and wellbeing guidelines.Assist with work in the shops as required.

Who are we looking for? – Mā‎ wai te mahi nei? 

To be successful you will have: 

A full, clean New Zealand driver's license - Class 2 is preferredExperience working with volunteers.Driving experience in a similar or relatable roleAn understanding of safe handling, storage of goods and be physically fit Excellent communication and customer service skills.The ability to mix and work with a wide range of people.Self-motivation and a positive, friendly approach.
