About the role

Hunters Corner Dental Care Limited in Papatoetoe, Auckland is seeking a reliable, talented and passionate Dentist to join our growing practice. This is a part-time opportunity for an experienced clinician who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the continued success of our dental clinic.

This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible hours to assist with overflow patients, weekend appointments, emergency care, and ideally Christmas–New Year holiday cover.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting comprehensive dental examinations and developing personalised treatment plans for patients
2. Performing a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
3. Providing preventive care, such as cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments, to maintain patients' oral health
4. Collaborating with the dental team to ensure the highest standards of clinical care and patient satisfaction
5. Staying up-to-date with the latest dental techniques, technologies, and best practices
6. Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to all relevant regulations and practice protocols

What we're looking for

1. Registered Dentist with a valid license to practice in New Zealand
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar dental role, preferably in a general practice setting
3. Excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients
5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
6. Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay at the forefront of dental advancements
