Job Description

How you'll make an impact

We're seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our Periocare Albany team on a fixed-term contract through to June 2026 (with the possibility of extension).

In this role, you'll be the friendly face of our practice – the first point of contact for patients and an essential part of the patient experience. You'll manage front desk operations, provide excellent customer service, and ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day activities.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Welcoming and assisting patients with professionalism and warmth.
  • Managing appointments, patient records, and payments efficiently.
  • Supporting clinicians to ensure each day runs smoothly.
  • Handling general administrative duties and ensuring the reception area runs seamlessly.

Hours & Location

Periocare Albany

  • Tuesday & Thursday: 7:15am – 5:00pm
  • Wednesday: 7:15am – 6:30pm
  • Friday: 7:15am – 2:30pm

Qualifications

Your experience and approach

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Previous dental or medical reception experience (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A friendly, professional manner and strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence using dental or medical software systems.
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
