We are looking for an experienced Tradesperson for a busy workshop based in Hornby. This role is offered on a temp to perm basis, hours of work are 08:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

This job would suit someone who is time served either as an engineer, boiler maker or coach builder with good general all round skills, including welding, good woodwork and sheet metal ability. 

The role is working with a small friendly team in a busy environment where the team work together to get the job done to a high standard on time, producing quality work every time.

Starting rate: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour (depending on experience) 

*What we need from you:*

  • Good communication skills
  • Good welding/ fitting/ fabrication skills
  • Confident with woodwork and sheet metal work
  • Able to use your own initiative
  • Confident with repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Team player, with a good attitude and good work ethic
  • Full class 1 licence and transport to get to work
  • Be happy to complete a variety of tasks as required
  • Able to provide 2 work related references

Beneficial:

  • Trade qualification preferred, not essential
