Our client is kicking off a major commercial construction project in early 2026, and we're looking for a motivated Cadet Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your career in a supportive environment.
About the role: As a Cadet QS, you'll work closely with senior quantity surveyors and project managers to assist with cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with take-offs and cost estimates
- Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement
- Helping track project budgets and variations
- Learning contract management and compliance processes
What we're looking for:
- Tertiary studies in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (or working towards)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic QS software
