About the role
This is a full-time, in-office role located in New Lynn, Auckland. As an experienced Family Law and Civil Litigation Lawyer at McLean Law Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional legal services to our clients. With 4+ years' post-qualification experience, you will leverage your expertise to support our growing practice and make a meaningful impact.
What you'll be doing
- Manage a diverse portfolio of Family Law and Civil Litigation cases
- Advise clients on all aspects of Family Law, including divorce, child custody, child support, and property settlements
- Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediations
- Conduct legal research, draft documents, and prepare briefs and other materials
- Collaborate with the wider team to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients
- Stay up-to-date with changes in Family Law and Civil Litigation legislation and regulations
What we're looking for
- 4+ years' post-qualification experience in Family Law and/or Civil Litigation
- Strong understanding of Family Law and Civil Litigation principles, processes, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and other professionals
- Superb written and analytical skills, with the ability to research, interpret, and apply complex legal information
- Proven track record of handling a diverse caseload and delivering successful client outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the growth and development of the practice
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with legal industry changes
