At The Pool Smith Ltd, we're a growing team of experts dedicated to maintaining and servicing beautiful concrete swimming pools and spas.

We're the service arm (and little sister) of Auckland Inground Pools, one of New Zealand's most trusted and award-winning pool builders.

Our projects span Auckland (North South, East & West) including Waiheke Island.  We also head into the Mightly Waikato, and occasionally up to the Winterless Northland.

Each pool is unique, so your work never feels repetitive  and some of your "offices" will have the best views in NZ.

You'll be the face of The Pool Smith, ensuring every pool you touch is safe, clean, sanitised and ready for our clients to enjoy.

You'll work independently most days, with the full backing of a supportive and passionate team.

What Your Day Might Look Like

• Plan and manage your daily valet run using our smart job management system

• Skim, vacuum, brush, and test pools, always ensuring thorough cleaning, good water balance and clarity

• Adjust chemicals, maintain filters, pumps, heaters, and pool automation

• Troubleshoot and repair basic service issues on the spot

• Keep detailed digital notes and before/after photos for each job

• Willingness to travel to Waiheke Island for occasional one-off service requests, and eventually service runs

• Maintain a clean, well-presented vehicle and your own professional appearance

What You'll Bring

• Experience in pool servicing or a willingness to learn fast

• Full, clean NZ driver's licence

• Great communication skills and initiative

• A reliable, proactive, and professional attitude

• Pride in doing quality work and keeping clients happy
