About the company:

As a subsidiary of a Global FMCG company, our client is part of a larger ANZ-wide business that operates manufacturing sites across New Zealand and supplies its products across the ANZ region. Recognised as a market leader in its industry, the company is home to several well-known household brands.

Reporting to the GM of Finance, you will be responsible for driving business intelligence & process improvement initiatives across the business. Key responsibilities will include;

• Partnering across the business to ensure data and reporting solutions evolve to meet user needs
• Designing and delivering insightful, visually impactful reports and Tableau dashboards that provide actionable insights, strategically serving the entire business
• Leveraging technologies (such as Alteryx) to improve and automate financial and operational data processes to reduce manual effort and increase data integrity
• Collaborate with the BI team to improve the availability of data in the data warehouse.
• Supporting the BAU of the finance team including financial planning, reporting and analysis
• Act as coach within the business to support others in their development of BI and analytical skills
• Engagement with broader BI community to develop and deploy tools collaboratively

About You?

You will hold a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or similar, as well as being an advanced used of Excel (PowerQuery & PowerPivot). You will have over 5 years experience as a dashboard developer (ideally on Tableau but PowerBI also considered transferrable) with in a large complex business. You will be autonomous, driven and self-directed with a track-record of delivering multiple workstreams to deadline. You show initiative and innovation and have the ability to solve complex issues with sound judgement.
