Comhla Vet is seeking an accomplished executive to lead our Central Region in the capacity of Regional Director, overseeing a strategically important portfolio encompassing the Vetlife brand and the growing portfolio in the region.

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to drive regional performance, operational excellence, and culture across a diverse network. You'll play a key role in delivering Comhla's national strategy, translating vision into action, and ensuring sustainable growth across multiple hubs and clinics.

As a senior leader within the Comhla organisation, you'll foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation, empowering high-performing teams, shaping the future of veterinary services in New Zealand for the long term.

The Opportunity: Region Strategy & Leadership:

  • Translate vision into action; Bring Comhla's national strategy to life through tailored regional plans that deliver measurable results.
  • Inspire and empower; lead and mentor Hub Managers, building leadership capability and fostering collaboration across clinical, cultural and commercial areas
  • Accelerate Growth: Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, operational performance, and community engagement.
  • Champion Culture: Build a connected, values driven region where people thrive and communities feel supported.
  • Work closely with the Comhla Executive team to deliver Operational Excellence: Oversee financial results, support workforce planning, compliance and health and safety with a focus on long term sustainability.

About You: Strategic, People First, Impact Driven:

  • Executive-level leadership experience in complex, multi-site environments
  • A proven ability to lead change and deliver strategic outcomes
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Sector experience in veterinary, healthcare, agribusiness or similar.
