Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting. The diverse perspectives of our partners and interested parties drive us to think beyond what's previously been done on critical issues like climate change, digital transformation, and future-proofing our cities and infrastructure.
We are designers, engineers, scientists, project managers, and strategic advisors. We innovate at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships to advance communities everywhere, so that together we can redefine what's possible.
In addition to providing traditional engineering, design, and construction management services, we have experience with complex design-builds, alliancing, programme management, information technology, asset management, and business consulting.
About the role:

This offers a good balance between strengthening your core skills and taking increasing responsibility for work - all while also learning from Stantec's local and global experts and furthering your development.
- You will contribute to the delivery of Electrical work packages, working as part of the project Electrical team under the guidance of a Principal Engineer. You will collaborate with Mechanical and Process engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
- You will have client-facing opportunities and site work which offers variety in daily tasks.
- This is your opportunity to grow or reinforce your abilities as an Electrical Engineer. You will be given the opportunity to grow into work packages leadership as you develop.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a professional engineer with a drive for further development and delivering projects collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
What you need to bring
- Our preferred candidate for this role will have technical experience in aspects of Electrical Engineering for infrastructure and industrial projects.

- You will enjoy working as a team and communicate well with others.
- You will have proven experience in working in diverse teams and managing your own delivery.
- You will understand the tools, including Electrical CAD and modelling software.
- You will be comfortable dealing with external stakeholders including clients and utility companies.
- In this exciting position, your own self-management skills will be as important as your technical ones. You will need to be able to prioritise workloads whilst maintaining strong and trusting working relationships with our clients' and colleague's both locally and across the broader Stantec team.
You will be able to work with remote teams to deliver projects to local clients.
