About the role

We're looking for a
Senior Civil Engineer
to join our
Three Waters team
, with a strong focus on stormwater design and delivery. This role is located in our Auckland office however other locations can be considered too. You'll take the lead on designing, planning, and managing complex water infrastructure projects that make a real impact. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical expertise, project management and delivery solutions across a range of large-scale projects involving stormwater management plans, hydraulic modelling, engineering design, and other flood management and network projects.
  • Investigation, planning and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
  • Guide and coach junior team members in an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning
  • Play a key role in shaping better infrastructure for a diverse range of public and private clients across Aotearoa.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-7+ years work experience in related roles.
  • CPEng is an advantage or working towards chartership
  • Experience in delivering stormwater projects: skills in Water Sensitive/Low Impact Design, hydraulic modelling, preparing Catchment/Stormwater Management Plans, or working in Three Waters/Infrastructure space are a bonus.
  • Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and design of pipe and surface networks, or flood control systems.
  • Skills using or interpreting results with software such as InfoWorks ICM, MIKE DHI, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW and GIS
