About the Clinic

Remuera Vets is a busy, community-focused companion animal practice with a wonderful, loyal clientele. Our team includes four veterinarians, six nurses, and two receptionists — all dedicated to providing exceptional care in a warm, collaborative environment.

The clinic is fully equipped with:

· Four consult rooms

· Dedicated dog and cat wards

· Radiology room

· Sterile surgical theatre

· Dental theatre with dental x-ray

· Full in-house diagnostics, including Zoetis AI Imagyst

About the Role

As a Veterinary Nurse at Remuera Vets, you'll play a vital role in supporting our veterinary team and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• All general nursing duties across surgery, dentistry, radiology, ultrasound & diagnostics
• Nurse consults, including vaccinations, arthritis treatments, laser therapy & more
• Reception duties and client communication
• Supporting vets during consultations & treatments
• Maintaining hygiene, stock levels & equipment care
• Providing exceptional patient care and customer service

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, rostered Monday to Friday with 1 in 6 Saturdays/Sundays and one evening shift until 8pm.

Please note: hours may change as the clinic grows, so flexibility is essential.

About You

You're an experienced, confident Veterinary Nurse (minimum two years' experience) who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You bring:

· Empathy, flexibility, and a positive, team-focused attitude

· Passion for patient care and a commitment to ongoing learning
