We're currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deli Manager to join our leadership team.
About the Role
As our Deli Manager, you will:
- Lead, train and motivate a team to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily Deli operations from product preparation and presentation to ordering and stock control.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
- Manage department budgets, rosters, and sales targets.
- Drive innovation in displays, promotions, and product range.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong communication skills, a focus on quality, food safety and a passion for great food.
Hours & Location
New World Havelock North
Days and Hours are:
Tuesday – Saturday
6am-3:30pm
This is a fulltime role, competitive pay rate between $30-$35 per hour dependent on skills and relevant experience.
About You
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in a food retail or management role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent understanding of food safety and compliance requirements.
- High personal standards for quality and presentation.
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
