About the Role

We're looking for a self-motivated and driven Sales Representative to join our Dunedin team Based in Dunedin Centra;, this role is permanent and full-time, from Monday to Friday.

In this role, you will be covering the Dunedin, Southland and Central Otago areas, focused mainly on our steel products (including structural, merchant, pipe & fittings, valves). If you have experience in sales and looking for a new opportunity to develop your skills in the Steel Industry, this is your chance You do not need to have experience in the Steel Industry or with Steel Products to join our close-knit team

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining sales of core products
  • Providing a high level of customer care and technical expertise
  • Building new profitable business relationships while strengthening existing customer relationships

About You

  • Demonstrated sales experience in a similar or related industry.
  • A real customer focus and people approach, strong resilience
  • Excellent work ethic, communication, and interpersonal skills – especially to be able to make cold calls and connect with existing customers
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Experience using a CRM system is desirable
  • A drive to succeed and passion for our products and company
  • Full drivers license to do road calls
  • Product experience would be advantageous
