Mo te tunga | About the role

Reporting into the Manager Residence Operations, the Supervisor Night Attendant provides unwavering, supportive supervision of our Night Attendants whilst ensuring the safety and security of everyone in the Residence is maintained.

Duties of the Supervisor will include;

  • To role-model a culturally responsive, well-functioning and high performing team
  • Enabling an environment of skilled, safe and secure residential practice
  • Assisting Night Attendants to apply best practice in relation to the Residence's legislative, policy and compliance framework i.e. the 'non-negotiable'
  • Contributing and supporting a positive team and site culture
  • Completing shift reports and completing a 'hand-over' to the Team Leader Operations
  • Identifying risks and implementing risk management actions
  • Assisting to develop workflow plans and assisting to develop staff capabilities

We make a positive difference in young people's lives and get to see some of the results from our efforts firsthand - and that reward is pretty hard to beat Our start times are 10.00pm - 6.30am, rosters consist of both weekdays, weekends and public holidays. A penal rate in addition to annual salary is applied due to it being a rostered position

  • Develop new and creative solutions to operational challenges and practice gaps within a secure residence

    Ability to work weekends and public holidays, and work from 10.00pm to 6.30am

Annual remuneration for this position starts between $68,371.00 and $75,501.00 dependant on experience.
