Delivery Drivers – Te Rapa, Waikato

Join us in a meaningful mission supporting our tamariki by ensuring they receive a nutritious lunch every school day. We're looking for reliable, positive, and physically fit Delivery Drivers to join our team in Te Rapa.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting school lunches across Waikato and South Auckland. This is a permanent position

This position is Monday–Friday, with daytime hours between 6.00am–4.30pm (depending on run allocation).

This role is anticipated to start towards the end of January 2026 before the start of School Terms as some training is required. This will be discussed further during any interview stage.

Important Information – School Holidays

  • Drivers are not required to work during school holidays.
  • These periods are unpaid unless annual leave is taken.
  • If work is available over the holidays, it will be factory-based only (not on the road) and will primarily involve cleaning and general support tasks.

Key Duties

  • Loading delivery trucks at the factory
  • Delivering lunches to schools on scheduled runs
  • Collecting all food and packaging waste from schools
  • Returning waste to the factory
  • Unloading and sorting returned waste
  • Accurately counting items and following paper-based delivery schedules
  • Ensuring timely, safe, and efficient deliveries

About You

We are looking for drivers who bring skill, reliability, and a great attitude

Essential Requirements

  • Clean Class 1 and Class 2 driver's licence
  • Able to confidently drive manual transmission vehicles
  • At least 5+ years delivery driving experience
  • Physically fit – some heavy lifting required
  • Clear Police Vetting in accordance with the Children's Act 2014
  • Excellent time management skills

  • Strong communication and a bubbly, friendly personality

  • You'll interact with school staff daily, so professionalism and positivity are key to retaining a positive working relationship with our clients

  • High standard of personal presentation
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow set delivery routes and schedules accurately
  • Must already hold NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa
