The Hangaris seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Kitchen Hand. This position promises an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our kitchen operations.

This is a part-time position working a minimum of 10 rostered hours per week. Flexibility is key, being available to work late nights and weekend shifts.

As a Kitchen Hand, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of ingredients and menu items
  • Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen area
  • Washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
  • Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks as required
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

What you will bring:

  • Experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Capability to follow instructions and carry out tasks diligently
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
