UX Designer

About the role

Reporting to Head of Digital, Design and Delivery, you'll be at the heart of our digital transformation, designing solutions that put our customers first. You'll work alongside talented, collaborative teams and will see your ideas to life in our delivery focused environment.

You'll be joining the newly formed Growth Group, whose purpose is to deliver exceptional top line sales performance, provide an unrivalled partnership experience, and increase brand awareness and recognition, all in support of Chubb Life NZ's bold ambition to be Number 1.

In this key role you'll

• Craft digital experiences that truly make a difference, design sleek, high-impact interfaces that customers love to use.
• Champion best-in-class UX practices, ensuring every solution is intuitive, accessible, and genuinely engaging for all users.
• Be a creative force within a collaborative, cross-functional team, your ideas will help shape projects from concept to launch, and you'll see your work come to life.
• Be the guardian of our brand's digital presence, ensuring every touchpoint is consistent, polished, and unmistakably Chubb Life NZ.
• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring the latest design trends and technologies, always looking for new ways to elevate the user experience and set us apart in the market.

To be successful and grow in this role, you will ideally bring the following

• A proven track record of designing digital products and interfaces that delight users and deliver results.
• Advanced skills in UX and UI design, with hands-on experience in wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Strong skills in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch
• A collaborative spirit and outstanding communication skills, enabling you to work seamlessly with colleagues and stakeholders across our global business.
• Curiosity and drive to keep learning, whether it's a new design trend, tool, or technology, you're always ready to adapt and grow.

• Wellington or Auckland (Takapuna) Hybrid work available
