DELI MANAGER WANTED - NW MILFORD

Having been part of the Milford community for 60 years, New World Milford is looking for a talented and driven individual to join our team and lead our highly regarded Deli department.

As Bakery Manager you will:

• Have end to end ownership & management of the department including buying, price integrity, rostering, food safety, Health & Safety, stock management.
• Ensure the department meets the highest standards, is fresh and displayed attractively for our customers.
• Lead and inspire a team of bakery & deli assistants who excel at consistently delivering high standards.
• Listen to customers to find out what they want and need in one simple shop.
• Search constantly for areas to improve our operations, productivity, and efficiency.
• Deliver on financial performance targets including budgets, wage percentages and sales forecasting.
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the store through input to the senior team and active participation and support of department and store wide initiatives

What we're looking for:

• At least 2 years' experience within a Deli Supervisor or Management Roll.
• A passion for food including cooking.
• Customer-driven.
• A good eye for quality and presentation.
• Able to strictly follow our Food Safety and Health and Safety program.
• Great people skills and ability to lead, train and inspire a small team.
• Reliable, self-motivated and be a good team player.
• SAP knowledge (Desirable)
