Solar Electrician

About the role

Ecoefficient Solutions NZ Ltd is seeking a Qualified Electrician for a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week). Work will involve electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and solar system work across residential and commercial sites in Napier and the wider Hawke's Bay.

This is a full-time position and will involve working on a variety of electrical projects and installations. As an Electrician with a New Zealand Practicing License (EWRB Registered Electrician), you will be responsible for reading plans and technical drawings and completing electrical work to a high standard.

What you'll be doing

• Performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical issues
• Ensuring all work is completed to New Zealand electrical standards and regulations
• Working a minimum of 40 hours per week

What we're looking for

• A current New Zealand Electrical Practising Licence and (EWRB Registered Electrician)
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Electrician, in installation and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• A valid driver's licence
