Are you an experienced chef and passionate foodie looking for your next challenge in a vibrant and fast paced setting? Covering the morning shift, Monday – Friday you will join our dedicated team at Coffee Infusion café based at Palmerston North Hospital.
If so, this rare opportunity working in our Coffee Infusion Café located at Palmerston North Hospital has your name all over it. With an established reputation within the hospital and lots of regular customers there is huge opportunity for you to contribute to the café's success and make your mark by sharing your creative and innovative food selection.
This position is a pivotal part of our team and requires a chef with relevant experience who can:
- Prepare, cook, and serve wholesome food,
- Monitor quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation,
- Adapt menus to cater for varied dietary requirements,
- Discuss food preparation issues with managers and kitchen staff,
- Advise kitchen staff on cooking procedures and techniques,
- Demonstrate understanding of, and ability to implement New Zealand Food Control and safety regulations,
- Operate at a level that can take responsibility when required,
- Maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment,
