About the Role
The role involves key responsibilities in financial accounting, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports to the COO and other stakeholders when needed which include:
- Accurate invoicing of customers by working closely with Sales Support and Sales team
- Responding to customers in a timely manner in all accounts and billing queries
- Reconciling trade debtors and trade creditors monthly
- Proper debt collection on a monthly basis
- Reconciling of bank statements in Xero for all bank accounts
- Calculation of commission for re-sellers and BDMs on a timely manner
- Assist with month-end closing journal entries
- Assist in preparation of year-end financial statements
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts
- Provide other reports as deemed necessary from time to time as requested
- Make recommendations on actions that may be taken to improve business performance
Key Performance Objectives
- Manage all creditors and debtor invoicing and reconciliation and payments in financial reporting in a concise and timely manner
Statutory Returns Responsibilities
- Ensure all statutory reporting requirements are complied with by entering into the accounting software invoices relating to:
- GST
- PAYE
- IRD
Key Performance Objectives
- All reporting filing is completed in a timely manner and the company does not attract additional costs and penalties
Administration Responsibilities
Oversee the general day to day administration duties of the business and other duties that are assigned to you from time to time.
