Mercure Wellington Abel Tasman Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist (Guest Service Agent) to join our dynamic Front Office team. What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting guests with reservations and enquiries.
  • Managing guest arrivals and departures efficiently and professionally.
  • Anticipating guest needs to deliver outstanding service.
  • Finalising guest accounts and handling cashiering tasks.
  • Following hotel policies and procedures at all times.
  • Contributing to the achievement of budgets and sales targets.
  • Working a rotating roster that includes days, evenings, and weekends.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine, outgoing, and friendly personality.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Previous front office or customer service experience is an advantage, but we're happy to train the right person with the right attitude.
