About the role

Supersonic is a self-service digital ecommerce solution. Primarily delivered on proprietary kiosk hardware with customers spanning many countries and enterprise QSR brands.

The Product Lead role is not for the faint of heart, we are looking for a seasoned professional that has been in the industry or an adjacent one with applicability to QSR. It's an incredible opportunity to work with an amazing product and set its direction in a fast paced environment.

The team and the technology powering the product are operating on a global stage and you will work alongside the product's engineering manager to collaborate and find the best value possible for customers in the shortest time possible.

About the role

  • Oversee and manage all stages of product development, including design, build, and delivery.
  • Maintain the Product Roadmap and vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Communicate the product vision effectively to internal stakeholders, ensuring the roadmap remains current, relevant, and customer-driven.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are technically feasible, commercially viable, and meet quality and usability standards.
  • Partner with the engineering team to manage the roadmap and release planning process across one or more teams.
  • Engage with stakeholders and customers to define scope, estimate effort, and set clear delivery expectations and timelines.
  • Promote regular feedback cycles to measure performance against product outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Create, prioritise, and refine the product backlog in line with the product strategy, incorporating stakeholder feedback and evolving business priorities.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, addressing blockers and ensuring teams remain focused on sprint objectives and delivery milestones.
  • Act as a product ambassador, representing the product both internally and externally by sharing updates, answering queries, and supporting communication and marketing initiatives.

About you

  • Proven leadership capabilities, with demonstrated ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing across multiple levels and functions.
  • Experience in a SaaS environment (preferred).
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and working alongside design teams (advantageous).
  • Exposure to both software and hardware product development (preferred).
  • Industry experience within QSR, hospitality, or retail sectors (preferred).
  • Ability to analyse data and apply insights to influence decision-making.
  • Strong product and technical acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, including the ability to identify, evaluate, and commercialise new business or development opportunities.
