About the Company:

Aubricks New Zealand Limited is a building material wholesaler and construction service provider. We are growing to more construction areas and are currently looking for an experienced Welder to join our team. This is a permanent full-time role with an immediate start date. You will be paid at reasonable market rate.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Primary duties include:

  • Welding and Cutting: Perform welding and cutting tasks on various construction projects, including buildings, bridges, and pipelines.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to understand welding requirements and ensure accuracy in work.
  • Equipment Operation: Set up, maintain, and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding machines.
  • Quality Inspection: Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet design specifications, safety standards, and structural reliability.
  • Repair Work: Carry out repairs on old or damaged structures, requiring precision and a keen understanding of various welding techniques.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to minimize risks associatd with welding tasks.

Job requirements:

  • No formal qualification is required, any relevant qualification is preferable

  • Have 3 years or more relevant experience

  • Attention to details

  • Be able to work independently as well as a team

  • Be able to work under pressure

  • Be physically fit

  • Be reliable and hardworking

  • Be willing to work during weekends if required

Working Place, hours, Wages level

  • Working in assigned construction sites in Auckland

  • Weekly Hours: You will be paid at actual hours however we guarantee minimum 30 hours and maximum 48 hours

  • Remuneration: Great market driven rates on experience, hour rate $28-30
