Plumber/Swimming Pool Installer

Ultimate Pools Ltd is an industry leading, award winning and rapidly expanding company based in Rosedale, Auckland. We install pre-moulded fibreglass self cleaning pools of the highest standard for customers from Auckland's harbour bridge, West to Muriwai and North to Mangawhai.

We are looking for a full time staff member to join our company in a plumber's role. The position will predominantly involve the plumbing of swimming pool self cleaning and filtration systems pipe work on fibreglass pool shells. Other duties will include preparing pool shells for installation, including fitting lights, skimmers, and rib systems for freestanding pools. The plumbing of pool equipment such as pumps, filters and etc will also be required from time to time, but the key task for this role will be plumbing pools located in our Rosedale yard before they are installed.

The ideal applicant will have construction or trade experience, and be able to understand, interpret and follow plans. They will be able to quickly learn to facilitate and carry out all aspects of pool plumbing including adapting the layout to suit the individual pool design and proposed installation site. Having the ability to use foresight to alter the design and layout of each unique system for ease of installation and usability will be a huge advantage.

To be eligible for this role you should;

Have the ability to work independently, problem solve and be self motivated.

To be able to confidently carry out all aspects of pool plumbing or have the background and aptitude to learn these skills quickly.

Hold a full drivers license with a clean driving record. A heavy vehicle license would be a bonus.

Be physically fit.

Work well as part of a team.
