- Your working knowledge and understanding of: Operating systems, hardware performance, networking concepts and operations, computer security management, information assurance (IA) security requirements, and system administration techniques.
- Experience with networks, including in areas such as voice/video/data and their convergence, wired and wireless networking, information technology, telecommunications, network management, and security as applicable to various types of area networks (LAN, MAN, WAN, etc.)
- Your ability to provide/perform:
- hardware and software installation in a client/server environment;
- scheduled preventive maintenance of computer systems and network components to include diagnostic testing and optimization;
- corrective maintenance including troubleshooting systems and support equipment to isolate faults and repair within agreed service level agreements.
- Desktop support, repairs and testing, installation, reconfiguration, configuration changes, upgrades;
- modification of components, devices, hardware and software to deliver training;
- Report technical and operational issues
- Your knowledge and skills in the integration and operation of Live, Virtual, Constructive simulation and industry leading simulation software.
- Maintaining current CISCO CCNA certification, Security+ certification, A+ Plus hardware certification, and NETAPP Data ONTAP 8.07-Mode Administrator (NSO-154) certification.
- Experience maintaining NZ Information Assurance certification and standards.
- Reporting of:
- Cyber security vulnerability assessments
- Audit and surveillance activities and reports
- Configuration logs
- Maintenance certification reports
- Your meticulous attention to detail, proactive approach to problem-solving, and collaborative mindset, enabling you to deliver expert advice, maintain compliance, and ensure seamless operations for mission-critical systems.

- Appropriate professional body membership and/or accreditation.
As a business we are open to flexible working arrangements, and keen to shape a role that works for you, however this role is site-based and cannot be completed remotely. Our clients require a New Zealand Government security clearance which is a condition for this role. To obtain this clearance requires New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency status.
