About the Role

This role is perfect for someone who loves digging into the details, building strong customer relationships, and winning work. You will be responsible for pricing and preparing quotes for minor works and remedial projects across a variety of building systems, ensuring we remain a standout, preferred provider in fire protection.

You will work closely with Project Managers, technicians, branch team, and customers to prepare accurate estimates, meet tender deadlines, and follow through from opportunity to contract handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare clear, accurate, and competitive quotes for minor works and remedial projects, ensuring all materials, labour, and costs are covered.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries, conduct site visits, and deliver exceptional service at every stage.
  • Identify opportunities, prepare tender documentation, submit quotes, and follow up after close to maximise strike rates.
  • Work with Alarms and Sprinkler teams to define scope and methodology and hand over accurate documentation to project teams.
  • Provide regular activity reports and monthly sales performance summaries.
  • Follow all company ISO, H&S, and operational procedures, contributing to a strong safety-first culture.
  • Seek ways to enhance estimating efficiency and market competitiveness.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • 5+ years of fire protection experience, including estimating or project management.
  • A technician background a plus) An understanding of fire alarm systems, building services, and estimating methodologies.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities
  • Proficient Excel and general computer skills including industry software.

In addition, you will bring excellent communication and organisational skills, combined with a customer-focused mindset. You are self-motivated, solutions oriented, and take full accountability for your work, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
