The Role:

This newly established Business Analyst position is a chance to influence meaningful change across Operations. You will lead the discovery and definition of business processes, translate real operational needs into structured requirements and contribute to transformation initiatives that improve insights and efficiency, modernise supply chain activity and enable smarter technology adoption.

  • Responsibilities span everything from identifying opportunities for efficiency to supporting AI-enabled automation and workflow improvements .
  • The role suits someone who naturally seeks to understand how things work, enjoys breaking down complex workflows, and leans into uncovering improvement opportunities and using modern concepts and technology to release value.
  • We want someone who enjoys working through the complete Agile flow, from understanding and framing the problem space to crafting user stories, prioritising requirements and actively supporting delivery teams during iteration and release.
  • You will likely enjoy piecing together information from multiple operational systems and sources and have a natural ability to relate to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to shape requirements, map process flows and ensure changes are well understood and well implemented.

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking someone who brings genuine strength in end-to-end Business Analysis and the personal traits that make BA work effective, such as curiosity, engagement and a systems mindset.

Key qualities and experience include:

  • A strong appetite for understanding business processes, identifying needs and mapping requirements clearly and logically.
  • Outwardly confident, stakeholder engagement is critical as is, relatability. You have had a background working in Primary Industries and/or Supply Chain & Logistics and have a real confidence working across a broad user base.
  • Demonstrable Business Analysis framework experience where writing and socialising user stories, creating acceptance criteria, documenting & presenting processes using Visio or other tools.
  • Experience and an interest in data and data visualisation, particularly Microsoft Power BI is key.
  • A genuine interest in AI and how it may be applied to create efficiency, automate manual steps or enable new ways of operating - through a Operational &/or Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain & Logistics lens.
  • Proven and demonstrable experience in delivering operational modernisation is key to the roles success.
  • Highly effective commercial communication, both verbal and written, with an ability to condense complex ideas into easy-to-understand insights.
