Zeal Pet Nutrition is a rapidly growing export based petfood company that is part of a much larger international petfood manufacturer.

We require an Export Coordinator / Specialist to manage the specialized process of shipping pet food products around the world, ensuring strict compliance with all animal food product regulations, health certifications, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

In addition to general export responsibilities (documentation, logistics, communication), you must handle specific MPI and customer requirements:

· Regulatory & Health Compliance:

o    Ensure all pet food products meet the specific eligibility and food safety requirements of the destination country.

o    Liaise closely with our Compliance Manager and the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) or equivalent foreign agencies (e.g., CFIA, US FDA) to confirm current importing conditions and secure necessary approvals and certificates.

o    Verify that the pet food raw materials are sourced, manufactured, and stored at premises with an MPI-approved Risk Management Programme (RMP), if required by the market.

· Specialized Documentation:

o    Prepare and manage all standard export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, BOLs), plus specialized forms such as MPI Eligibility Documents, Exporter's Declarations and official Export Health Certificates.

o    Ensure all documentation accurately reflects the product's composition and compliance with the importing country's food handling and labelling regulations.

· Logistics & Quality Control:

o    Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure proper handling, loading, and certification of export consignments, maintaining the integrity of the "RMP chain" until the product leaves the country.

o    Track and monitor shipments, ensuring products are transported in a manner that adheres to industry and government safety standards.

· Stakeholder Relations:

o    Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and government regulatory agencies.

o    Report to management and relevant agencies if products are refused entry by a destination country or deemed unfit for their intended purpose.
