About The Role

As a Fraud & Chargeback Analyst, you'll manage chargeback processes, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with financial industry regulations. This role involves handling customer disputes, monitoring transactions, and aligning operations with company policies and best practices.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee the chargeback lifecycle from initiation to resolution, investigating disputes, gathering evidence, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate outcomes. Analyze trends and recommend process improvements to minimize financial loss and reputational risk.
  • Monitor transactions using fraud detection tools, investigate suspicious activity, and implement preventive measures. Stay updated on fraud trends and best practices to strengthen the company's fraud prevention framework.
  • Partner with risk and compliance teams to ensure adherence to AFSL, AML/CTF, and other regulatory requirements. Assist in policy development, training programs, and escalation of high-risk cases.
  • Act as a trusted contact for customers involved in chargebacks or fraud inquiries, providing clear communication and education on policies. Conduct staff training, maintain knowledge resources, and support a positive customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance fraud and chargeback processes, recommend technology and procedural improvements, and work with teams to deliver efficient, customer-focused solutions.

About You

  • Experience in chargeback management, fraud monitoring, or risk management.
  • Familiarity with fraud prevention regulations and standards.
  • Experience with Transaction monitoring, case management, and use of fraud detection tools.
