St Pierres Sushi and Bento, New Zealand's largest sushi chain, is currently seeking highly motivated and flexible staff to join our team . Following our 'People First' philosophy, we use our proprietary talent development system to support gradual and long-term career growth, offering pathways to Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Manager roles .

We Are Looking For People Who:

We welcome people who meet the following criteria :

  • Are residing in New Zealand and interested in career development.
  • Are able to commit to long-term employment of 6 months or more.
  • Are cheerful and energetic, capable of communicating well with both customers and staff.
  • Are comfortable with light physical work, such as lifting items of around 10 kg, as the role involves substantial kitchen duties.
  • Basic experience is generally not required, but experience in food service or customer service in any country (e.g., Japan, New Zealand) is a plus .

Our team members are multinational, offering a fun environment to interact with people from various backgrounds . As our customer base is mainly local, an intermediate level of English proficiency is required for customer service .

Job Responsibilities:

The role is diverse and includes:

  • Customer service using English.
  • Kitchen duties such as rice preparation and vegetable cutting.
  • Preparation and sales of St Pierre's Sushi and Bento's core products, including rolled sushi, Chicken on Rice, Donburi bowls, ramen, and udon.
  • Cleaning duties .
