About the role

Uniscreen Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient and effective operation of our state-of-the-art warehousing facility in East Tamaki, Auckland. As a full-time Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all warehousing and distribution activities. This is a crucial role that will contribute significantly to the overall success of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatching orders
  • Manage stock ordering process to ensure no out of stocks and an improved stock on hand turnover ratio
  • Implement and monitor warehouse procedures and policies to optimise productivity and minimise errors
  • Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities to maintain a safe and well-organised working environment
  • Collaborate closely with the logistics, sales and customer service teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (5+ years) in a warehouse management role with fork hoist license
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems and inventory control processes - addded benefit if you know Unleashed stock inventrory managment software ( or similar)
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Forklift license and experience operating warehouse equipment is desirable
