We're looking for a Senior Project Manager who not only brings technical expertise but also shares our commitment to leadership, collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead complex engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for strategic planning, client engagement, and team leadership across multiple sectors including dairy, food processing, healthcare, energy, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including scope, goals, resources, budget, and timelines.
  • Lead the project management team
  • Conduct site visits for scoping, measurement, and assessment.
  • Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and innovation.
  • Maintain financial control and productivity targets.
  • Build and manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities to grow BLM's market presence.

About You

We're seeking someone who:

  • Has 5+ years of project management experience in engineering or industrial sectors.
  • Is proficient in SolidWorks and project planning tools.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Is values-aligned: In-sync, Grit, and Professional.
  • Holds NZ permanent work rights and a full NZ Class 1 Driver's Licence.
