Hours

  • 5 days per week Tuesday – Saturday (some 5am starts) – hours available to be discussed at the interview stage

Key responsibilities

Bakery/Deli

As a Bakery Assistant, you'll play a key part in ensuring our bakery runs smoothly and that our customers leave with fresh, delicious products they love.

  • Baking bread (using frozen dough), cakes and other sweets
  • Packing, labelling, and merchandising bakery goods to a high standard
  • Maintaining accurate pricing and date coding
  • Delivering outstanding customer service in the bakery department
  • Preparing the department for upcoming shifts and keeping it clean and tidy
  • Assisting with end-of-day cleaning in line with our food safety standards
  • Working in Deli as a backup when required to cover team holidays etc

Online shopper

This position requires excellent customer service skills as well as speed and efficiency. You'll ensure every online order is picked with care and precision, treating each basket as if it were your own.

  • Strong attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and great communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a bakery, deli, or customer service is a plus (but not essential)
  • Comfortable working early mornings and being on your feet for extended periods
